Description:
The project of Leon Convention Centre and Exhibition Hall consisted in the rehabilitation of the old Santa Elviera sugar factory, located in the Armunia neighborhood, next to the high-speed train station and a few minutes away from the center of the city of León.
It is a multipurpose space of large dimensions, equipped and designed for various events. It has a built area of 12,700 m2, divided into three rooms, two of them with capacities of 600 and 500 people, and the largest with 1,200 seats.
One of the most outstanding elements is its striking mineral, photovoltaic and translucent roof, whose energy generates in a sustainable way the necessary electricity to feed the buildings.
